Kew College def. The Mall

On Tuesday 28th of April it was a perfect sunny day for playing cricket, it was year 4’s first cricket match and we were playing The Mall school. Ben won the toss and chose to bat first, which was a wise decision. Kew College batted very well and managed to score lots of runs. We felt very anxious when the second innings began, but we were very pleased with our bowling and took 7 wickets. It was a tough, but fun match with the final score being Kew College 268 – 1, and The Mall 213 – 7. Although we won we could definitely improve our overall game especially the bowling. The whole team were extremely pleased with the result and really enjoyed the match and are looking forward to the next one.
